How far in advance do we need to place an order?
We would advise as soon as you have booked your date to get in touch and check availability especially for dates between April and September, as these dates especially can book up fast, sometimes in excess of a year in advance. The more notice you can give the more chance you have of securing a date in our diary. That said we can still sometimes be able to accommodate bookings just a couple of months in advance so please don't hesitate to contact us.
Do we need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a £50 deposit will secure your place in our diary and the balance is due 28 days before your big day! Please note that unfortunately we are unable to save dates until deposit paid.
Do you deliver and set up our wedding cake?
Yes, delivery and set up on your big day is included in the price quoted. We will liaise with your wedding coordinator to ensure your cake is delivered and set up in perfect condition.
Can you collect your wedding cake?
In most cases we would liaise with your wedding coordinator at the venue and deliver and set up your wedding cake. Due to the weight of some of our larger tiered cakes delivery would be necessary as some cakes need to be assembled at the venue. However, our two tier and smaller three tier cakes are available for collection. Please note though that, if collecting, once your cake has left our kitchen we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.
Do you bake all your cakes from scratch?
Yes, all of our cakes are baked freshly for your big day using the finest ingredients for each order. Each cake is baked from scratch, we don't use any packet mixes and we never freeze any of our cakes.
Can we choose a selection of flavours?
Yes, of course! With so many choices of flavour it's usually impossible to choose just one so any multiple tiered cake can have a different flavour for each tier.
Can we sample your cakes before ordering?
Absolutely! It's just as important that your wedding cake tastes as amazing as it looks so we offer wedding consultations to all couples (maximum two people). Consultations last for approximately one hour and give you the opportunity to not only try our cakes but to discuss designs and chat about all things cake, as well as viewing some of our designs. We strongly recommend bringing any fabric swatches, ideas or anything you would like incorporated in your design with you to your consultation, although this isn't essential. There is a £25 charge for consultations which is deducted from the cost of your cake should you decide to book with us.
